The Benchmark

The performance framework
for elite commercial
cultivators.

The Rule of 10s is a revolutionary new benchmarking and scoring framework for CEA facilities and commercial grow operations. Built around 10 critical domains, it measures everything that matters and nothing that doesn't, so cultivation teams, owners, and investors can see where performance is created, limited, or lost.

Everything that matters.
Nothing that doesn't.

Commercial cultivation is complex. GP-10 distills horticulture, CEA systems, facility design, team execution, and operational performance into 10 rules and 10 scorecards that make the business easy to understand, measure, and improve.

The R-Score shows where you are today, where you want to go, and where to invest your time, resources, and money for the greatest return. It turns the cloud of possible improvements into a clear prioritization framework, so you know what has to be fixed first before the next upgrade, process change, or crop strategy can fully pay off.

Not another opinion.
A benchmark.

GP-10 is designed to keep every conversation grounded in operational reality. It is not a replacement for expertise. It is the structure that helps expertise become measurable, teachable, and repeatable.

01
Not a Checklist
A checklist can tell you whether something exists. GP-10 shows whether it matters, how much it matters, and what it affects downstream.
Depth
02
Not an SOP Binder
SOPs document what people should do. GP-10 shows whether the operation is built so the team can actually do it consistently.
Execution
03
Not an Equipment Pitch
Equipment only creates value when the surrounding system is ready for it. GP-10 helps show which upgrades are useful now and which ones should wait.
Fit
04
Not Consultant Opinion
Opinions are hard to compare. The R-Score gives every improvement a place, every weakness a score, and every next step a reason.
Score

One benchmark.
Different decisions.

The same R-Score creates value across CEA by giving everyone a common measurement system. It connects operational reality to the decisions cultivators, owners, investors, vendors, and service providers already need to make to reach the next level of performance.

01
Cultivators
Turn experience into a system the team can execute. GP-10 helps show which practices are creating consistency and which hidden gaps are limiting crop performance.
Execution
02
Owners & Operators
Know where to invest or improve before spending more capital. The benchmark prioritizes the gaps most likely to affect efficiency, growth, and profitability.
Capital
03
Investors
Evaluate operational risk with more than projections and promises. R-Score gives diligence a shared language for readiness, fragility, and improvement potential.
Risk
04
Vendors & Service Providers
Help clients understand the value of a solution in context. GP-10 connects equipment, services, and expertise to the rule they strengthen and the score they can improve.

The Benchmark

A score that tells
the whole story.

The Rule of 10s is the framework behind GP-10. Ten operational domains, each scored from 1 to 10. The composite R-Score is weighted by financial impact, so the number reflects what actually moves the P&L, not just what looks clean on a walkthrough.

The Big 4 domains account for the majority of recoverable value. Rules 5 through 10 are revealed at launch.

The Big 4 most models
do not start with.

The Big 4 are the first four rules we are releasing publicly. They explain why optimization often fails before the crop plan even begins.

Most models jump straight to climate, nutrients, irrigation, or pest pressure. GP-10 starts with the foundation underneath those decisions: the people system, facility design, water and fertigation, and medium and nutrient program. Get these wrong, and every downstream solution has to fight the operation.

Rule 01
Ego & The Human Element
The rule most optimization models ignore. Before you fix water, lights, nutrients, or equipment, you fix the people dynamic. The machine has to run regardless of who's in the room because every other rule is executed by people.
Rule 02
Facility Design & Equipment Selection
The most permanent decisions you make. You can retrain people, upgrade water treatment, and change growing media. But you cannot easily move walls, resize rooms, re-engineer HVAC, or relocate your pump room once the facility is built.
Rule 03
Water Treatment & Fertigation
The delivery system for every input. Water quality, treatment, mixing, and fertigation determine whether the crop receives the strategy you think you are running.
Rule 04
Medium & Nutrients
The foundation that defines root-zone behavior, nutrient uptake, labor rhythm, and OpEx. Your medium and nutrient program are not product preferences. They are operating model decisions.
